Åsa joined Brakeley Nordic in 2016. She previously worked with fundraising, communication and process development 2013-2016 for Blomsterfonden, a NGO working with elderly care and senior housing. Åsa also has experience from the educational sector as a co-founder and board member of an independent primary school in Stockholm, as a board member of a preschool and had the educational sector as research and focus area in her M.A in Social Anthropology 2013. Before that she worked for a number of years at Apple managing Executive Relations and Service in the Nordic countries and UK.
As a consultant with Brakeley, Åsa has worked with clients such as SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), University of Helsinki (Finland), Mälardalens högskola, S:t Eriks ögonsjukhus (St. Erik Eye Hospital), Aarhus Universitetshospital (Denmark) WWF and Åbo Akademi (Finland). Åsa participated in CASE education in Fundraising, Spring Institute 2017 and in FRII’s fundraising course, 2016.
Åsa was born in Luleå and has lived in various places in Sweden, but spent most of her upbringing in Täby outside Stockholm. After living and working abroad in UK, Denmark and Norway she now lives in Danderyd, outside Stockholm together with her Norwegian husband and their two daughters.
